Ball Hill c.p, near the viaduct at Okehampton. EX20 1QG
A circular walk.. There are 4 open river crossings with no bridge or stepping stones. 3 miles is on Camp road which can be walked on the moor to the side, Be prepared for poor weather, as this is a walk on open moorland with no shelter for much of the day. ascent 2500/762m, pace 3mph
General Notes
A moderate walk at a moderate pace. Dogs welcome on lead. Waterproof & warm clothing essential.
c.p spaces are limited, so encourage car sharing there is a regular train service from Exeter
