Route
Bottom of Freston Hill in long Layby next to River Orwell. Nearest Post Code IP9 1AB If coming from Ipswich direction pass the Oyster Reach & The Suffolk Food Hall on your Right. Continue along B1456 towards Shotley, the layby is on the left at the bottom of the hill
This is a repeat of last years walk-Starting along the river towards Ipswich through the Park & nature reserve at Bourne Hill to Belstead & Bentley Woods and over to Alton Water, returning via the various woodlands back to Freston
General Notes
There are toilets within the first 2 miles. A pub stop at Tattingstone around lunch time. Please bring a packed lunch as although only 14 miles will probably be mid afternoon before we finish
