Meet at Sutton Heath Picnic Site Sutton Woodbridge IP12 3DT (this is the nearest postcode, actually for Sutton village. Picnic site is off B1083 before you get to Sutton village)
Circular walk heading to River Deben via Nethersgate. Short stretch of river path then heads inland to Shottisham. Stop at Shottisham Church for a coffee break. We will then head to Rendlesham Forest via Hollesley Common. Lunch stop will be at Tangham Picnic Site in the forest. There are (basic) toilet facilities here.Then head back to Sutton Heath via forest tracks and Sandlings Walk

There are no shops on the route. Please bring food and drink for the day

*** Dog incident *** Sue's dog Pepper whilst on a lead was attacked by a large dog in Rendlesham Forest. Dave Edwards had to haul the dog away. The owner of the attacking dog just walked off without an apology.Gallery
