The walk will start from Suffolks finest historic wool town at Lavenham 9am, the route will then be taking us through the fine wool trade villages of Monks Eleigh, Chelsworth, and Bildeston ,morning break in Bildeston. The afternoon route will include Barking Common, Priestley Ancient Wood and Barking Church Causeway before the 18 mile route finishes back in Needham Market. The 27 mile walkers will be able to top up with refreshments in Needham Market, before heading past Hawks Mill then a short length of River path, on to Creeting St Mary, The Lords Way and back by the Mid Suffolk path

NB - booking essential via Simon because space needs to be reserved on the coach. 27 mile route 07.45 Bus pickup. Ashes Farm, at end of Oak Farm Lane, Mendlesham, signed no through Road, (TM110641). 18 mile route 08.10 Bus pickup in the High Street at the bus stop opposite the Swan Pub. ( The Swan is opposite to the entrance of Needham Market Station.) Free parking at Needham Market Station, Station Yard, Needham Market, (TM 091548)
