Meet Iken Picnic Site near Snape Maltings

The route follows part of Suffolk coastal path over Burrow Hill, a Saxon burial ground, across the river Butley by ferry to Gedgrave and the oyster beds. Orford for lunch then back along the sea wall via Orfordness

Please bring £2 for the ferry and contact the leader beforehand so she can inform the ferryman of numbers

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
