General Notes
The Battle: In June 1402 a force led by Owain Glyndwr decisively defeated Edmund Mortimer and his Herefordshire tenants and followers, 800 of whom were killed. The English had advanced from the E and attacked the Welsh who held Brynglas Hill above the ancient church and holy well of Pilleth
