Start Llangynog c.p. in the Tanat Valley

Up over Craig Rhiwarth - through slate mines to prehistoric hill fort with many hut platforms, then N to descend into the Afon Disgynfa, a stone age sanctuary known as Rhos y Beddau, with stone circle and stone rows (lots of quite small stones) (GR 058 302), before continuing to Moel Sych 827m, returning via Pistyll Rhaeadr (waterfall)
