Starting at the grave of William Penny Brookes, who inspired the founding of the modern Olympic movement, visiting Wenlock Edge, Abdon Burf and the Corvedale

General Notes
Organised in association with the Wenlock Olympian Society as part of the programme of the 2013 Wenlock Olympian Games. This walk demands map reading skills and self reliance - there is no route description but a data sheet to help map reading and a gps log. Checkpoints are very well stocked but widely spaced with one indoor checkpoint with hot food at the half way stage.Limit 200. No entries on the day. No dogs
