Route
Thetford Bus Interchange. Free c.p available nearby at Bury Road c.p, postcode IP24 3BN, what3words chosen,decoded,blotches. The c.p is 8 minutes’ walk to the Bus Interchange, where there are toilets. The first bus to BSE leaves at 09:15; if you miss the bus you’ll miss the walk, as the next bus is an hour later. The bus fare is £2.
The bus should arrive in BSE at 09:47 and we’ll walk down to the Abbey Gardens to use the facilities there and then start the walk. If anyone prefers to meet there, please let me know so I know to look out for you
The walk follows the St Edmund Way out of BSE, along the golf course & towards Lackford Lakes by way of Culford. We will continue via West Stow & along part of the Icknield Way & into Thetford via Barnham Common & back to our parked cars
