June 2024 Update

Welcome to the June walks update

We have had the usual whirlwind of a month leading up to the Speyside 100.

A great effort was made by Norfolk & Suffolk to support the event. Despite being one of the furthest to travel to in Scotland, 14 Marshals put themselves forward and put in very long hours supporting the walkers on the wonderfully run N & S Checkpoint.

We also had 100% completion rate from our 16 members that walked/staggered the full course. This includes three first timers Andy Dack, Shu Foster and Crumpton Clarke (Huge Congratulations!) The comradery and support shown in this walking community is amazing and a privilege to be a part of.

Looking forward we have the Rodent Wriggle coming up on the 27Th July. We would really appreciate volunteers to come forward to marshal.

Anyone that can assist please could you contact Hilary Magnall by email  familymagnall@hotmail.com or WhatsApp. Some people have already said they would like to help however could you please still confirm by contacting Hilary.
