Dear All,

Afternoon / Evening Wildlife Walk

Anne Brown is leading a Friday afternoon/evening walk on Friday 21st June.

Meet after lunch, walk about 10.5 miles for a meal stop at Broomhill. Either bring picnic tea
or book an early evening meal at the Barley Mow at Broomhill. Return to Holt Heath to watch 
nightjars (weather permitting). Walk ends ~22:00. Please bring a torch, insect repellent and 
warm clothes for the evening.

Please book with Anne by Tuesday 18th June if you would like to eat in the pub. Dogs must be
kept on a lead across heathland.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
