A friend of mine is organising the Dorchester Walking Festival which will take place between 11th and 19th May. She is looking for volunteers to organise walks in the Dorchester area; they do not need to start or finish in Dorchester, but need to be relatively close, so people can easily travel to the start.
The festival already has a number of short walks planned, but they are looking for a few longer walks. By longer they are thinking of 15-20km (about 9-13 miles), so not quite up to the full LDWA day out.
They are particularly interested in linear walks that use the train from Dorchester and coastal walks.
If you would be prepared to lead a walk at the festival, please let me know and I will put you in touch with the organiser.
