AGM 2024

The 2024 Annual General Meeting took place at the Mill Inn, Mungrisdale CA11 0XR at 4pm on Sunday 27th October.

A document outlining policy and approach to social walks has been issued by the National Executive Committee to local groups for comment. It aims to outline best practice without being restrictive, and is a worthwhile read for anyone considering leading an LDWA social walk. A copy can be found HERE

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
