Okehampton Railway Station, Station Road, Okehampton, Devon. EX20 1EJ

A circular route of about 18 miles. Climbing the highest points on north Dartmoor, with moorland crossings and a visit to Meldon Reservoir and the village of Lake before returning to Okehampton via the Dartmoor Way. Mostly on open moorland and footpaths

General Notes
This walk will be on day one of Cornwall & Devon's August Bank Holiday " Dartmoor Tors and Moors Special " A pub visit enroute and an option of another at Okehampton after the finish are planned. Waterproofs warm clothing and appropriate footwear for open moorland required. Bring a picnic lunch. Dogs welcome on a lead
