I am looking for volunteers to assist me on checkpoints I am running on behalf of the Irregulars on this year's Speyside 100.

a. The 1st checkpoint is at Nethy Bridge which is 5.8 miles from the start and will  open on Saturday 25th May 2024 from 11:00 until 16:00. Ideally, I would like to operate three teams of two to check people in and some people to prepare and serve cold drinks and setup and replenish biscuits, cake, chocolate and fruit.

b. I have also been asked to assist the Heart of Scotland group at checkpoint 10, as they have never done this before. Checkpoint 10 is at Tamdhu Station (Knockando) is at 70.9 miles from the start and opens on Sunday 26th May from 03:15 until 22:00. I have agreed with Jo Allport, chairperson of HoS, to break this into two shifts with us doing the first shift before handing over to them. I would like to operate two teams of two to check people in on a two hour on, two hour off basis over the shift. I also need people to prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, cereal, noodles, savoury bites, crisps, cake, sweets.

The Irregulars have always had a good reputation for looking after walkers at checkpoints on the annual 100 and I hope that we can get sufficient volunteers to provide the same again this year.
