I have been asked to send this email as a reminder to all those who join the Group's social walks.
The Walk Leaders go to considerable effort and diplomacy to arrange suitable pubs (or cafes) so that we can enjoy the local hospitality during our lunch break. It is expected that all participants will respect the leader and the publican and not eat their own food in the establishment. This is discourteous to all and can be embarrassing for the leader. It may also make it more difficult for other leaders to arrange walks in the same area.
Please keep this mind when you join all the Group's walks.
