The Annual General Meeting of The Irregulars Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association will take place on Sunday 13th March 2022 at 2.30 pm at The Leggers Inn, Dewsbury WF12 9BD.  Alternative venues have been difficult to find at this time.

There will be a walk starting at 8.00 am and the meal will be served at 1.00 pm.  Details will follow closer to the date.

 

Nominations for the Officers and Ordinary Committee Members, who must be members of the Group, can be referred to the Secretary by 12th February 2022.  A nomination must include the names of the proposer and seconder and the agreement of the nominee to stand.  Nominations may also be taken at the AGM.  Voting will take place at the AGM.

 

The Officers;  John Whitworth - Chair,  Sue England - Treasurer and Helen Horseman - Secretary have agreed to stand.

 

The Ordinary Committee Members;  Mike Colley, Sharon Whitworth, Lesley Wolsey, Andy Mohun-Smith and Mark Pennington have also agreed to stand.

 

The committee is seeking the nomination of an additional ordinary member with the specific responsibility of coordinating the Group's Challenge Events.

 

Amendments to The Irregulars' LDWA constitution are also being proposed and will be voted on at the AGM.  Details are attached.

Any proposals concerning the amendments must be made in writing to the secretary by 12th February 2022 and must include the names of the proposer and the seconder.
