Chair Good to be back to normal with challenge walks and a welcome increase in Social Walks thanks to efforts of Simon and Steve Redmund.
There will be a meal for volunteers on May 20th.

7. Election of Officers
Jenny Wynne finally resigned, a vote of thanks given for her hard work and extreme patience.
New Chair Jane Webb proposed by Janet and seconded by Dave C
Secretary Geoff seems to have returned to position by default – prepared to carry on if not asked to do too much.
Treasurer Paul Breach – thankfully agreed to continue

2024 SSC going on holiday maybe Oswestry / Welshpool – Alec White to support Jane

Group hosting check point at Tamworth in Arden 64 miles.
Concerns over time we can access the hall and the use of powdered custard.
It was agreed to pay petrol expenses for those helping.
It was also agreed that all event organisers should have the discretion to offer petrol expenses where appropriate.
11. Paper maps – we discussed the issues of walkers not carrying a paper map – but not sure
what we decided!
12. It was agreed to present Jenny with a book token as thanks for all her efforts.
13. Roger to arrange for first aid quals to be updated.
