We have 2 walks for 6 people scheduled for this Sun 13th Dec; one from Charminster which has 2/3 spaces led by John W, and one from Whitesheet near Ferndown with 3 spaces which will welcome some of out newest members as well as regular walkers. Please see website for details and let's fill them up!
For your information, the UK is now in an Avian Flu Prevention Zone which means bird owners will be required to keep their flocks under cover and upgrade their bio-security measures. We have not yet been notified of any rights of way closures as a result, but you may encounter diversions around farms which keep poultry. Please be prepared to follow suitable diversions on walks if necessary.
Wild birds have been affected in Dorset so if you find any dead birds, do not touch them, but report them to the DEFRA helpline: 03459 33 55 77
