You may remember seeing a group email about the possibility of a Dorset LDWA group trip to Snowdonia in September. There was sufficient interest for the trip to be arranged; we will be travelling to Snowdonia on Thursday 24th September and returning on Monday 28th September. While in Snowdonia most of us will be staying at the Snowdonia Mountain Hostel https://www.snowdoniamountainhostel.com/; with a few in local B&Bs.
During the holiday we have enough interest in walks to offer both a walk with a small amount of scrambling and an easier (no scrambling) option each day.
The Snowdonia Mountain Hostel is quite basic but looks comfortable, has good reviews and is in an ideal location for walking; we have booked exclusive use of the whole hostel. It sleeps 26, but it is not intended to fill the place so as to provide a bit more comfort. This does mean that we have a limited number of spare places on the holiday.
