The walk next Sunday from Maiden Newton covers some quite rural parts of Dorset so there will not be a pub stop at lunch time. In fact it is so rural that we will not pass any convenient churches for coffee or lunch stops so if the weather is inclement be prepared to stop in the open.
As the January sales are on this walk, originally advertised at 17 miles, will not only have an extra 10% distance free, but also lots of free hills and mud. I still intend to be back before it is dark, but as with any winter walk please bring a torch just in case.
