Dear members,
Thank you very much to those of you that have already led a walk this year, and to those that have one in the Summer programme. We really have a splendid range of walks on offer. However, the next Strider deadline is approaching and I’m looking for more offers of leaders from Sept – Dec 2019 please.
Given the popularity of our walks recently, with over 30 people attending some walks, I would like to try to offer a walk most weekends, as well as a good number of Re:Tired walks mid-week.
If you haven’t led a walk this year, could you plan and lead one? If you have led one, how about leading another? If you’re quite new to the group, why not pair up with someone else to plan and lead a walk jointly?
As before, the first thing you need to do is to book the date you would like on the Doodle Calendar, and ideally give an idea of approximate location:https://doodle.com/poll/g784p6ikw82yxei4
I have indicated popular LDWA challenge events. These are not dates to be avoided, but may be dates when fewer people will attend. If you’d rather not use the Doodle Calendar, just send me an email: dorset.ldwa.walks@gmail.com Then I will need all the details for Strider by Monday 13th May at the latest please.
