Please see below, additional information from Richard and Sandra regarding the walk.

 

Richard & Sandra look forward to seeing you on their Radar and Oboe walk this Sunday 3rd March starting at the usual time of 9.00am.

 

Please note that the start is at Whiteways Car Park (the westerly car park on the Purbeck ridge). The grid reference is SY887812. This has been updated on our website but is wrong in Strider. The walk will be around 20 miles with undulations in the morning and a couple of larger undulations in the afternoon! Good practice for the Giant.

 

Please bring lunch as we cannot assume that the café at Ringstead will be open. Our mobile number in case of need is 07767 212164.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
