Dorset LDWA

Here are the final arrangements and agenda for the AGM on Sunday 2 December 2018. As in previous years the day is in three parts: walk, lunch, meeting. You can go on the walk without attending the lunch/meeting and you can attend the lunch/meeting without going on the walk. You can go to the meeting without having the lunch but you cannot have the lunch without going to the meeting!

Walk
Meet Winterborne Kingston village hall car park (North Street, Winterborne Kingston DT11 9AZ, grid reference SY 861 977) for a 10 mile walk starting at 9am led by Chris Pitt. We can leave cars in the village hall car park for the whole day (please do not park in the pub car park). We will return in good time for you to change your clothes if necessary (the hall will be open briefly for changing facilities then closed during the lunch) before the lunch in the Greyhound Inn.

Lunch
Lunch will be available in the nearby Greyhound Inn at 1pm. The Group will pay for your lunch (but not drinks!), if you are a primary member of the Dorset Group and you attend the AGM afterwards. You should have already advised Anne Brown dorset.ldwa.walks@gmail.com of your lunch choices as per my previous email - the deadline is Thursday 15 November.

AGM
As previously notified, this will be held in Winterborne Kingston village hall (grid reference SY 861 977) at 3pm. Only primary members of the Group can normally attend the AGM. If you want to bring someone with you whose primary membership is of a different LDWA Group or who is not an LDWA member, this will need to be agreed in advance by the committee, so please let me know as soon as possible. LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
