Dear All,

Very many thanks for all the offers of walks for our Autumn programme – it looks and interesting selection with some new areas included, and some new leaders too.
If you missed the deadline and want to lead a walk before Xmas, there are still some weekend dates available and we can advertise to our members by email, and by posting on the website – just let me know the details: dorset.ldwa.walks@gmail.com. The same applies to the popular mid-week Re-Tired walks which are usually posted 36hrs in advance.
I have received a request for more walks which include points of interest / interesting facts about the area. Could you include something in a walk you plan? There is also a suggestion that we follow on from the Hardy Way series of linear walks with something similar. Any ideas?
Finally, Robin and Rosemary have advised me that some minor changes have had to be made to the walks they planned for August and November. ‘Into Depths of Marshwood Vale’ is now so overgrown, they will postpone this until November, and so the route nearer the coast, ‘Doglegs’ will be in August. Start points, distances and times remain the same and details are on the website. Thanks Robin and Rosemary for checking the route in time to make the necessary adjustments.

I hope to see you all out walking soon.
