I previously sent out an update in which I stated that there would probably not be anywhere to sleep overnight in the checkpoint. Deirdre and I have now visited the checkpoint, and we are in a hall, which although closed off from the rest of the school, is much larger than expected. Among other things, there is a large stage in the hall which we are told we can use. This will provide sleeping accommodation overnight on the Saturday, if you are not on duty, for those with sleeping bags / mats. It will not be very comfortable and a bit noisy however, so some wimps like me will still prefer to book somewhere else. Sorry about the confusion but I was misinformed.

I won't be sending out final details, which will include parking arrangements, until after the marshals' next month, so please bear with me in the meantime.
