This email is being sent to Dorset Group Cinque Ports 100 volunteers only (for the main event). I need to advise you that the location of the checkpoint allocated to Dorset Group has been changed. We still have the checkpoint after the breakfast stop but due to double booking it has been moved to Folkestone - details as per below. As we only found out by looking at the website, I did send a slightly stroppy email to my contact on the team but I was careful not to protest too much as we can all appreciate the pressure they are under, having been through it ourselves. Neal will be in touch with further details soon. He has asked for email addresses of volunteers - let me know asap if you do not want yours forwarded.

I know at least one of you had already booked accommodation near to the old checkpoint. I hope this change will not cause too much inconvenience.
We will now need to be there round about 00:00 on Sunday 27 May leaving around 18:00 (or possibly later). I will be in touch in the NY with suggested rotas. I am preoccupied with a personal project until about mid-January, so please bear with me.
