Hi All,
Winter solstice 2017 in Northern Hemisphere will be at 16:28 on Thursday 21 December. Sunrise will be at 08:05 to the South East. Any suggestions?
If not, I can lead a night walk departing the Greyhound at Bridport at 23:45 Wed 20th December, with our usual solstice non-event taken from Thorncombe Beacon overlooking Lyme Bay and returning to the Greyhound for breakfast.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
