Please see the message below from Chris thanking volunteers who helped on the Dorset Doddle, and some feedback from entrants. Hi Martin

Please pass on my thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the Dorset Doddle such a success. There were so many thank-you’s on the day and listed below are some of email and social media posts.

As always we do need to reflect on the event and if you have any thoughts or points please let me know and I will add them to the list.

Thanks again

Chris

Hello

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved in this year's Doddle. I enjoyed it enormously, though my legs seemed to have forgotten just how many steep ups and downs there are along the route – and they're now making me pay for it....

Thanks again, and hope to see you all again next year, legs permitting.

Steve

A quick note to say thank you to you and all the volunteers involved yesterday for the organisation and execution of the day. Everybody I came into contact with at the checkpoints and at the church hall (the tea and pasta were very gratefully received) were super friendly, helpful, patient and very cheerful.

All in all a really enjoyable day.

Again, many thanks.

Regards
Paul

Thank you all for an excellently organised event yesterday. We had a lovely warm welcome at every checkpoint, and our every need catered for, including a delicious meal at the end served by a humble and attentive waiter! It was a privilege to be able to take part, rather than helping, and we really appreciated it.
I hope you all were not too tired at the end, and that everyone arrived back safely despite the rotten weather and dark evening.
Please pass our thanks on to all helpers.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for a fabulous walk on Sunday - having done it three times out of the last four years, it's a part of my calendar now.
Was it you who said something like 'it's almost impossible to go wrong?' I actually went wrong twice, so I blame you. First time I was talking with Jane Macefield and we were on a lovely path and we just charged along, missing a turning, and the other time I was on another lovely path and enjoying it so much I missed the turning again. I probably did at least an extra mile. No probs. Please thank everyone at checkpoints and at the church hall (the tea and pasta were very gratefully received)

Regards

Graham

Wow...........A huge thank you to all involved with yesterday’s Dorset Doddle, I'm walking like the tin man today but it was definitely worth it, and worth the 7 hour journey to see some of this countries spectacular views.
