Deirdre and I have done a preliminary walk out, and the provisional distance is about 17 miles. It is quite a hilly route, and muddy in places, so we will not be taking it too easy. If the weather is kind and it goes well on the day , we may extend it slightly, but it will not exceed the originally advertised distance of 19 miles. Lunch stop will be at Woolland Church, but no pub. Please park considerately in Winterbourne Stickland. There should be enough “on road” parking in the village, but not all in one place. We will meet at the grass triangle near to the church.
