Here are the final arrangements and papers for the AGM on Sunday 27 November 2016. As before the day is in three parts: walk, lunch, meeting. You can go on the walk without attending the lunch/meeting and you can attend the lunch/meeting without going on the walk. You can go to the meeting without having the lunch but not the other way round!

Walk

Meet Wareham Quay (parking charges apply in this car park) (GR SY 924 872) at 9am to walk with Richard & Sandra Brown to Scotland and back with a guided tour included! The wagon workshop at Scotland Farm has kindly agreed to offer a short guided tour and talk on their work. We will return in good time for everyone to change (the Town Hall will be open and then closed during the lunch) before the lunch in the Red Lion.

Lunch

As previously advised, lunch will be available in the Red Lion (opposite the Corn Exchange) at 1pm. The Group will pay for your lunch (but not drinks!), if you are a primary member of the Dorset Group and only if you are attending the AGM. An email has already been sent about lunch choices. As stated, please notify your choices to Bill Peach w.peach@sky.com by Friday 18 November, if you have not already done so.

AGM

As previously stated, this will be held at the Corn Exchange, in Wareham Town Hall, GR SY 923 873, at 3pm  (opposite the Red Lion).  Only primary members of the Group can normally attend the AGM. LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
