Dear Dorsets, as most of you are aware Dave kindly arranged and came up with idea of us walking the HW, but lately he has been a bit crook, so alas you will have to put up with me leading this section, don't be too frightened.  If you wish a place on the minibus I need to know by Sunday 2 October. For those that have booked a place with Dave I have your names so no need to get in touch again, but PLEASE NOTE I wish to leave Pentridge at 0845 not 0900 as stated in the Strider, please allow for 22 miles, and bring enough food and water for the day. LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
