Please join us at our Dorset 100 Party on Saturday 9th July at 7.00pm at the Wareham Parish Rooms – by Wareham Quay. This will be an opportunity for your committee to thank you for all you have done (and as of today have still to do please!) on our great endeavour. There will be food and drink, Rob Jayne will kindly show the final version of his Dorset 100 video and even possibly a mad version of the Dorset 100 on foot in 10 minutes!! We may have other goodies for you and we will all certainly have stories to tell – hopefully the humorous ones.
I cannot express my thanks to everyone in better words than those from Wayne Bartlett who has just e-mailed from a far-off land to say: “Can I wish everyone the best of luck on the main event – not that luck is particularly needed thanks to the professionalism, hard work and attention to detail of everyone involved. It has been a real pleasure to play a small part in things myself. Thanks again for being such a nice group to work with…….It shows what a close-knit group the Dorset LDWA is …..I am sure that the Dorset Hundred will go down in history and folklore as one of the most memorable and enjoyable.”
