The walk will start from Fiddleford Mill Car Park (GR ST802135). Please note that the local signs direct you to Fiddleford Manor. This is the same place as the mill.
The route will be about one mile longer than the advertised 18 miles, but there are no hills so we should have no trouble making it back in daylight. There will be plenty of mud, but none too bad; I got round on Saturday (27th Feb) in trainers and only got a wet foot once.
I am intending to have a pub stop at lunch time, but probably not enough time to order food; and should we be making poor progress and I have to reduce the length of the walk we will not make it to the pub. In other words please bring lunch.
