Dorset Doddle 2023 – Sunday 20 August 2023

The arrangements for this event are well underway, but more support would be welcome.

  • Marshals’ event – Sunday 23 July 2023 – we need a couple of helpers for this, please email Anne on brownbootswalking@btconnect.com if you are able to assist.
  • Helpers on the main event - A couple of extra helpers would be useful, if you have not yet volunteered and are free please email.
  • Bakers needed - we would like to offer home - made cakes at the checkpoints, these are always  much appreciated, Dorset has a very good name for catering. Expenses will be re-imbursed.  Please will you email Heather on heatherbelle@gmail.if you are willing to provide a cake.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
