Dear All,

2023 Walks Programme – Walk Leaders Needed

We have had a very popular varied programme of walks for 2023 so far, and have some spaces going forward to Easter 2023.

The weather is getting warmer with Spring on the way, there are lots of pretty snowdrops, daffodils and other flowers now appearing. If you are able to lead on any type of walk, both shorter and longer walks are popular, please let me know.

Also please email if you are willing to lead a walk but would like some support in planning or during the walk or wish to reserve a date for later during the year.

The following dates are currently free:

  • Sunday 26 February
  • Sunday 26 March
  • Sunday 2 April
  • Sunday 9 April (Easter Sunday)

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
