Our Long Distance Paths (LDP's) team is committed to ensuring that, wherever possible, the information we hold about Long Distance Paths is accurate and up-to-date. In general, the LDP's team is unable to check out path problems in person. For this reason they need to rely on our members to notify them of changes to, or issues with, any Long Distance Paths that they may either encounter or be informed about. Of particular interest to the team are obstructions to or breaks in paths which necessitate long diversions, especially those which have been in place, or are likely to continue, for a long time.
To help our members do this, the team has developed a form (Long Distance Paths Change Report Form) which can be found in the Long Distance Paths section of the Toolkit. The form is self explanatory and easy to complete.
We would be grateful if you could notify your members of the need for their help in this important area and let them know how they can access the LDP Change Report Form.
