Cerne Giant 2023 – Sunday 19 March 2023

At last night’s LDWA Committee meeting it was decided that the Group would run the Cerne Giant 2023 on Sunday 19 March 2023, based on the Cerne Abbas Village Hall and likely to follow the route planned for the 2020 event which was cancelled due to Covid. 

We need volunteers to join the Committee, which will meet online approximately monthly. Committee members are welcome for any contribution, or to take over specific areas if willing.

Later we will be asking for volunteers to help on the day, and will be very grateful for all assistance, even if only for a few hours.

The Cerne Giant 2023 Marshals’ Event, open with no entry fee to all volunteers, it will be on Sunday 5 March 2023.

Dorset Group has a very good reputation for running popular successful Challenge walks, hopefully as many members as are able will join in.
