Secondly, a reminder that our AGM followed by an ordinary meeting is a week today - Wednesday 28th, 7.30pm, The Drop Inn, Elland, HX5 9DU.

And then pointing out the upcoming Social Walks in our area ......

Sat 24 January, The Irregulars, 17 miles from Hade Edge

Sun 1 February, East Lancs., 19 miles from Todmorden

Sat 7 March, Calderdale & Kirklees, 22 miles from Mytholmroyd (The Hebden).

Sat 2 May, Calderdale & Kirklees, 22 miles from Marsden (The highest points of Calderdale & Kirklees).

Sun 3 May, West Yorks, 25 miles from Brighouse (on the Calderdale Way).

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
