Calderdale & Kirklees LDWA

A Happy New Year to all members and what better way to work off the excesses than our upcoming walk. This Saturday 3rd January, 8.30am from Stainland Recreation Ground (SE077195) 16 miles, led by Sandy Gee.

Also a reminder of our AGM being held on Wednesday 28th January, 7.00pm at the Drop Inn, Elland, HX5 9DU. PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL GROUP. Any "substantive motion" should be submitted not less than 14 says before the meeting with proposer and seconder. I will then publicise these prior to the meeting.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
