Hello to all members (Primary and Associate)

CALDERDALE EVENTS - PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT YOUR GROUP

Firstly a reminder of our social walk this Saturday the 11th October - "Beacon Hill and Beyond", 18 miles. Meet 8.30am at Brow Bridge, HX4 8AL.. Leader Sand Gee 07468 498036

Wednesday19th November is our next OPEN Committee meeting. 7pm at the Drop Inn, Elland, HX5 9DU.

On 6th December we will be holding our Christmas Social Walk (5 or so miles) followed by a meal.

Wednesday 22 Oct (Irregulars) "Where Will Charlie Walk Today?", from Kirkburton (Will be great to see Charlie out on a walk Di, hope he makes it!)

Saturday 22 Nov (West Yorks) "New and Old Together", Halifax, 18 miles

Saturday 13 Dec (Irregulars) "20th Regular Irregular", Brockholes, Challenge event with choice of distances up to 23 miles.

Saturday 13 Dec (South Manchester) "Moors the Merrier", Hebden Bridge

Sun-Mon 2-3 May 2026 (West Yorks) THE CALDERDALE WAY.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
