Bowden Bridge Car park, near Hayfield

A described route which will take us through Hayfield, New Mills and Rowarth. A climb up onto Lantern Pike before lunch in a pub of the same name in Little Hayfield. After lunch some hard work up William Clough to visit the site of the trespass scuffle

General Notes

The car park is on Kinder Road about a mile east of Hayfield. Hayfield is on the A624 from the north/sout and A6015 from the west

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
