A Watergate Scandal

Walk Details:
An easy going urban circular walk commencing and finishing at Watergate Forest Park. The route kicks off from the car park and heads south until we cross the A692 north of Street Gate. Following public rights of way we then head south passing Penny Fine and Birkhead Cottages where we join the Tyne and Wear Heritage Way. We follow the trail east to Kibblesworth where we then head south up Clarty Lane and follow the River Team until we reach High Urpeth and then Beamish. We then head west to East Tanfield Station then north to Causey Arch before reaching Sunniside. We finally follow the Tanfield Railway Path to Street Gate then Marshall Lands Farm and back to Watergate Forest Park
