Meet and start at Haltwhistle Leisure centre, Greencroft, Haltwhistle NE49 9DP , GR NY703641, where there is ample free parking

This is a circular walk, starting from Haltwhistle Leisure Centre, taking the South Tyne Trail to Lambley Viaduct, then onto the Pennine way which takes us over Hartleyburn, Featherstone and Blenkinsopp Commons and on to Hadrian’s Wall. We come off Hadrian’s Wall at Cawfields and follow Haltwhistle Burn back to Haltwhistle. Total ascent is approximately 2250 feet

General Notes
On completion of the walk, it’s over to the Black Bull in the town centre for refreshments and a chin wag. Dogs welcome on leads
