NY260245. First left after petrol station on B5289 coming out of Keswick (heading West)
A flat start along the Cumbria Way, through Portinscale. Up Skelgill bank to Catbells. 9mls, however option to extend Maiden Moor, High Spy & Dale Head, depending on weather & inclination!
General Notes
This is Walk 3 of Lake District Weekend 1 walks (27th Feb, 28th Feb, 1st March). For those staying in Keswick for the weekend please arrange your own accommodation. Denton House YH nearly always has rooms available.

Essential Kit - Personal First Aid Kit/silver blanket, whistle. Waterproof jacket & trousers, hat, gloves & spare layers. Phone, plenty of fluids & food.
