From Underskiddaw c.p following the Cumbria Way, pass Skiddaw House before turning SW & climbing up Birkett Edge to Bakestall, then onto Skiddaw (928m). Nice walk back down passing Carl Side & Little Man back to the c.p

General Notes
This is Walk 2 of Lake District Weekend 1 walks (27th Feb, 28th Feb, 1st March). For those staying in Keswick for the weekend please arrange your own accommodation. Denton House YH nearly always has rooms available. Please book your place on this walk with Julie 07388879295 for emergency purposes, GPS route & access to weekend only "Whatsapp group" for communication purposes/photos. Please take own responsibility for mountain terrain. Essential Kit - Personal First Aid Kit/silver blanket, whistle. Waterproof jacket & trousers, hat, gloves & spare layers. Phone, plenty of fluids & food. Recommended - Map, compass, GPS, powerbank & survival shelter
