Route
Edmundbyers NZ016500. Park considerately on road outside pub, (The Derwent Arms)

Head out of Edmundbyers village in a SW direction, firstly on road then a good track over Limerick Edge, College Edge & Edmundbyers Common. North up to Blanchland, W along the river & upto Pennypie House & Blanchland Moor. East through Slaley Forest before heading back South towards Derwent Reservoir where we will have late lunch (picnic tables & toilets). Continue around the reservoir, over the Dam & then head W, following the other side of the reservoir to Pow HIll before returning across moorland back to Edmunbyers

General Notes
This is a scenic, easy walk, with good paths & views. The start location is generally accessible by car over the winter . Drinks afterwards at the Derwent Arms.
