(Circular walk from Wooler. Car Parking & start of walk - Long stay free parking on the site of the Old Wooler First School, GR NT989283, post code NE71 6EQ
This route uses part of St Cuthberts Way, Pennine Way & the Three Peaks of Cheviot anytime challenge.
Wooler - Wooler Common - Broadstrother - Goldscleugh - Lambden Valley - College Valley - Red Cribs - Auchope Cairn - Cheviot Summit ( 2674 feet ) - Scald Hill - Broadhope Hill - Broadstrother - retrace back to Wooler)
General Notes
23 miles, 5000 feet of ascent. Quite a strenuous walk in the Cheviots & Northumberland National Park. Some awkward terrain. Start 8:30am. Leader - Paul Nellist. Dogs welcome on leads
