Figure of Eight walk from Byrness. The walk will start from the small c,p at the northern end of Byrness Village (Otterburn Green), just off the A68 on the left as you come north, GR NT 763028. The nearest post code is NE19 1TS, this is not exact, but will get you in the right area. Leader - Annette Pantall

Byrness - Chew Green -Lambs Hill - Blind burn - Chew Green - Hungry Law - Byrness
32.7 km, 958m ascent,10 hours.
This is a figure of 8 loop, so there is the option of walkers joining the walk for the 10 mile loop from Chew Green ( at 10am) via Lambs Hill. So, parking at Chew Green (NT794085) to meet the group at 10am, doing the 10 mile loop via Lambs Hill and returning to Chew Green.
The walk can also be shortened by cutting out Hungry Law & returning via Spithope.

General Notes
Sunrise 7:40am, Sunset 16:00pm. We should be finished by 18:30pm at the latest, so torches will be necessary for the last couple of hours. Please note that by attending this walk you agree to the Northumbria LDWA group rules with regards to: a) Dogs are welcome on leads, but owners must have up to date public liability insurance b) Photographs of people must be with the full consent of those people for the taking & distribution of the photographs
