Route
Free Parking at the start of the walk at the Village Hotel, Newcastle, NE27 0BY. Circular walk led by Dave Clifton

Village Hotel, Wallsend Dene, then joining Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail to St Peter's Basin for our first break. Crossing the Millennium Bridge to the South bank of the River Tyne. Following the River Tyne Trail to the pedestrian tunnel. Once back on the north of the river we link with the North Tyneside Steam Railway path to bring us back to Silverlink & Village Hotel

General Notes
The 2025 National LDWA AGM weekend will be held in Newcastle. The venue will be the Village Hotel, Silverlink, Newcastle. As part of the AGM weekend there are several choices of walks for delegates on the Saturday. Northumbria LDWA will be leading these walks. This walk by Dave Clifton will be the longer, 20 mile on the day. This is a preview of the walk for our group
